App Store Update: July 25

Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.

Ticket to Ride Europe Pocket – ($1.99)


Days of Wonder's wildly popular board game series is getting another iOS conversion starting today, as Ticket to Ride: Europe is adapted to iPhone and iPad form. If you're familiar with the original, the Europe version is similar – but with a different map, of course, and an extra rule or two tossed in to mix things up.

Burger Cat – (Free)

You can help a hungry kitty get his paws on some juicy hamburgers for free today in this casual, environment-altering puzzler.

Pinch Peeps – (Free)
Also free today is Everplay's Pinch Peeps, a design that sends cutesy creatures onto the screen in pairs and tasks you to "pinch" them together to eliminate them from play in a flourish of color.

Space Pombo! – (Free)
m2games' "Space Pombo!" takes traditional match-three puzzling and replaces all the standard, multi-colored blocks with cute little astronaut characters. You can drag them into position and watch them explode for free today.

Innkeeper HD – (Free)
iPad owners have yet another free option to consider today, too, as Monkey Eater's hotel management sim Innkeeper is available for zero dollars down.

Wizschool: The Ancient Book of Magic – ($0.99)
And our last heads-up for today goes to Wizschool: The Ancient Book of Magic from Owloh, a puzzle/RPG hybrid design that might appeal to the Harry Potter fan in your life.
